Abstract

In this paper, the fuzzy logic control method for magnetic levitation system with laboratory size is presented. Firstly, the mathematical model of the system is built from physical relationships and experimental setup. From this model, fuzzy logic control technique based on Takagi-Sugeno fuzzy model is built to ensure the stability of the system. The controller has a simple structure so it is quite convenient for installation in real systems. The simulation and experimental results show that the system responds well to the step and time varying reference signals.
