Abstract

Dioxin is a group of highly toxic chemical compounds including 210 congeners, causing serious diseases on human health such as cancer, genetic diseases, birth defects and others. In particular, 2,3,7,8 -Tetrachlorodibenzo-ρ-dioxin (TCDD) was determined to have the highest toxic coefficient. In this study, we used the Sandwich ELISA method based on Aryl hydrocarbon receptor and monoclonal antibody to detect TCDD in 1% DMSO. The initial results showed that the immunoassay was capable of detecting TCDD with a detection limit of 1 pg/ml (1 ppt), a sensitivity of 97,14% and a specificity of 91,67%.
