Abstract

This paper presents research results on the influence of casting temperature and cone block dimensions on the quality of explosive charges during the process of casting explosives into the combat components of anti-tank mines. The research findings indicate that a casting temperature of 86 °C results in the highest charge density of 1.681 g/cm³. Additionally, a cone block with a generatrix length of 430 mm and a base diameter of 370 mm provides the best steel penetration capability for the explosive charge, capable of penetrating a CT3 steel plate 100 mm thick with a penetration hole diameter of 179.9 mm. The cone block functions both as a shrinkage compensator and as a wave shield, which helps control the detonation propagation process and enhances the steel penetration capability of the shaped charge.
