Abstract

Based on the studies of the characteristics of the sea clutter model and the reflective properties of the sea surface, the requirement for marine radar is to detect small targets, slow motion, weak radar signal reflection and covered by the background clutter. The content of the paper is to introduce the effective signal processing solutions to improve the capability to detect and track targets in the sea, and the results received from analysing the real data.
