Abstract

 The current research was carried out to investigate the technology of improving the mechanical properties and the density of Molybdenum by metal forming process (hot forging). Results showed that the density and mechanical properties of the material have increased significantly. The optimal forging temperature range and deformation ratio for the material mark M-MП have been specified. Through optical micrographs have elucidated the mechanism deformation of metal particles and pores under the impact force of forging and temperature. The study gives a clear conclusion about the redistribution of porosity and the growth of metal particles during the hot forging process.
