Abstract

The paper presents an approach that combines a form of Kalman filter as a-b filter with fuzzy logic to solve the problem of targets tracking of objects at sea. The use of radar probes with narrow width pulses can lead to multiple markers from the same target. The  filter a-b belongs to the class of simple and classical K filters. The use of fuzzy logic allows adaptive changes a and b to optimally synthesize the true mark used to track and develop the object's trajectory. The aforementioned approach allows to partially solve the orbital loss phenomenon when using a radar detector with a narrow width pulse.
