Abstract

Measuring and evaluating spinal defects is a very common need today. The most common method is to use the X-ray method. However, due to the use of ionizing radiation (X-rays), this method is very easy to cause undesirable side effects when tested many times and is not especially suitable for pregnant women and children. Digital spine analysis using rasterstereography method with the advantage of not using radiation, suitable for all ages, can be monitored and assessed continuously, giving images of the entire spine and asymmetry of the spinal muscle groups. Combined with force measurement techniques, research results show that this method can measure and evaluate the correlation between the morphology and function of the spine, in the diagnosis of rehabilitation, and can be applied regularly to monitor the effectiveness of rehabilitation.
