Abstract

Currently, there are many types of materials used to prevent radiation such as lead plates, rubber, barite mortars, RS anti-radiation brick and radiation shielding composite materials. In particular, radiation shielding composite materials have many great advantages. In this paper, the manufacture method and evaluation of properties of composite materials on YD-128, E-44 resin with some fillers, plasticizer, solidifier are presented. The results show that the composite materials on YD-128 or E-44 combined with Bi2O3 or B4C give the best radiation shielding.
