Treatment of radioactive contamination is gaining great attention on a global scale due to its dangerous effects on human health. Radioactive contamination causes many acute, chronic, and even fatal illnesses if exposed to large doses or for long periods of time. The creation of a material capable of shielding radiation has attracted much attention, such as lead, rubber, barite mortar, RS anti-radioactive bricks, especially radiation shielding composite material is receiving great attention due to its fabrication ability, mechanical properties and its resistance to radiation. This paper presents the results of studying the effect of unit component on the mechanical properties of the radiation shielding composite based on E-128 epoxy resin. The result shows that with the DOP plasticizer ratio of 20%(w/w), the filler component is B4C with the rate of 10%(w/w) compare with E-128, allowing to obtain the product with the best mechanical properties.
